Year of Abundance

I hope you enjoyed a holiday season filled with harmony, light, and abundance… and that this carries over throughout 2020.

Thank you for supporting Amman Imman in 2019, and over our 15 years of existence, whether it be financially, morally, or in any other way.

I also extend extreme gratitude to our amazing board, staff, and volunteers. Amman Imman is composed of talented, persistent, hard-working individuals. They are dedicated to the point of taking huge risks and undergoing great personal sacrifice to make our work impactful.

I enjoyed much of 2019 in Niger beside the people we serve, sharing their joys, their laughter, and also their fears and hardships. I have seen children go hungry, and also feast during periods of festivity. I have watched children miss school, spending hours fetching water, and then rejoice in the abundance of water during the pumping trials of the borehole Amman Imman is building. I have witnessed babies weep bidding their mothers goodbye before their seasonal migration to nearby Nigeria, and then giggle in their mother’s arms months later upon their return. Read some of their stories here.

I pray that 2020 is a year of abundance for Amman Imman, and more specifically, for the populations we support. We impatiently await to finish the “Water is Education” borehole for tens of thousands. We hope to launch our agroforestry/watershed restoration program. We also plan on increasing our support for girl’s education, including scholarships for secondary education. We will continue growing our mobile health clinic, providing health care and education to mothers and children in additional communities.

Amman Imman exists thanks to all of you. If you can, and it is the right timing for you, please continue supporting us to help multiply abundance.

Sincerely and gratefully yours,
Ariane
