First the Borehole...
In October 2019, we drilled the “Water is Education” borehole!
For two days, families came from up to 15 miles away to fill up their jerrycans with free water during the pumping trial. They washed themselves and their clothes as children, like Houlaye, swam and played. Herds of animals drank contentedly. There was so much joy!

But then the pumping trial ended...
People and animals continued traveling to the borehole expecting to find water. Sadly, we had to turn them away until we could build the the water tower, faucets, piping and animal troughs.
We are finally there! See the outcome from your support!
Riskouwa continues:
"Here are photos of the 50 m³ water tower for the Tatiste/Fak borehole, under consturction in Tahoua in December."

On January 25, 2021, Riskouwa reported:
"The water tower was brought to the village, and the structure was built.

"The next day the water tower was finished."
