A Virtual Walk for Education
Amman Imman is hosting a Virtual Walk for Education that began on our day of service, Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day. We look forward to your participation! Funds raised will support the education of boys and girls who live in the Azawak of Niger.
A Virtual Event
We've made the event a virtual walk so everyone can participate. We want to get kids involved, but it's for EVERYONE to get out, get fit and have fun!
You can complete it between January 18 (MLK day) and March 22 (World Water Day), and walk as much or as far as you want! Participate with your friends, or by yourself. Do it your way!
Support Children's Education
The funds we raise will support the schools of Tatiste and Fak where we are finishing the “Water is Education” borehole. Many schools helped raise money for this project in 2018 and 2019, and it will finally be completed! Additionally, we will send 6 girls to secondary school in Tahoua at the Hamsa Girls Educational Center. With water available, education is possible.
Register, Share and Walk!
Here are the steps for you to get started:
- Register yourself. It's free!
- Start or join a team, or sign up as an individual.
- Set up your fundraising page.
- Tell everyone far and wide about your walk, and get them involved!
- Walk! Get fit and raise funds!
We are counting on you!

"I have the audacity to believe that peoples everywhere can have three meals a day for their bodies, education and culture for their minds, and dignity, equality, and freedom for their spirits."
